The Crapo tied-up at the Medusa Cement dock, Cleveland, Ohio on 7 September 1996.
Later that fall after unloading she was moved up the Cuyahoga River to collision bend.
She spent some time tied-up at G & W ship repair having some work done during the winter of 1996-97.
The shipping season of 1997 saw the Crapo "against the wall" and earning her keep as a storage barge still tied-up at collision bend. Note the increase in draft over the earlier photos.
After spending the summmer of 1997 in Cleveland as a storage barge, the Crapo was towed to the LaFarge dock and unloaded.(photo by Josh M.) The following pictures were taken the two days before the Crapo left Cleveland
