Engineers' Quarters

Second only to the Captain, the Chief Engineer was responsible for overall operation and maintenance of the Engine Room. His quarters provided direct direct access to the engine room below. He had four Assistant Engineers working under him, the First, Second, and Third assistant engineers as well as a Day engineer. All engineer quarters are on the starboard side of the aft cabin.
